I just saw in today’s email I have an entry accepted by Juror, Dan Burkholder, with the Texas Photographic Society Cell Phone Photography Contest II. I am very excited to be included with the other chosen entries. A Blurb book will also be published.
I was also chosen as a November artist at the Austin Parks and Recreation Old Bakery and Emporium (in front of the Austin capital) with my Grand Teton images from a wonderful workshop I took with The Mindful Eye. The gallery is upstairs in a beautiful limestone wall and wood floor space. The building was originally a bakery in Austin’s history and there are artifacts displayed on the second level. Today is the opening of “America” with my “The Naked Cowgirl” image at A Smith Gallery in Johnson City.
I have another entry or 2 out there and won’t know anything for a while, I did have one rejection for a call in California. All in all, I am most happy with this year’s efforts.
