This year, I have continued collaborating on new photogravures @creeksidestudioatx with Master Printer Tracy Mayrello in Austin, Texas. The newest editions of my “Telescoping Landscapes” series will be on view in the studio and available for sale during Austin Studio Tour 2023, along with an incredible selection of printmaking from The Master Printer Collection and other Creekside Artists. My newest edition in progress is from an olive grove in Terni, Italy at the former monastery of La Romita. The girl is running, excitedly hurrying to tell her mother about the arrival of a new lamb.
The title “Nuova Vita” means new life. The colors of this print represent the cycles of life: Birth, Life, Death, Afterlife. These 4 images will be presented in one print. I must decide if they will be in a square or in a straight, horizontal sequence or? Let me know if you have an opinion!
